More Factoring:  Special Products and Completing the Square

Essential Question:  What do we do when a quadratic function can't be factored?

Content Objectives:  The student will be able to...
  • factor perfect square trinomials.
  • factor the difference of two squares.
  • factor expressions using the largest monomial.
  • solve quadratics by completing the square.
Language Objective:  The student will be able to explain when it is necessary to use Completing the Square both orally and in written form.
