• determine the domain of rational functions.
• state whether the function is continuous or discontinuous.
• Identify any locations of discontinuity.
• classify points of discontinuity as essential or removable
• identify asymptotes.
• identify x- and y-intercepts of rational functions
• graph rational functions

Language Objective:  The students will be able to completely describe the graph of a rational function both orally and in written form.
