Counting Techniques:  Permutations and Combinations

Content Objectives:  The students will be able to...
  • Compute the number of ordered arrangements of outcomes using permutations.
  • Compute the number of groupings of outcomes using combinations.
Language Objective:  The students will be able to explain how counting techniques relate to probability in everyday life both orally and in written form.
