Introduce Stem-and-Leaf Plots

Content Objective:  The students will be able to...

• construct a stem-and-leaf plot from unsorted data
• compare different graphical representations of the same data
• identify landmarks of data (maximum, minimum, range, median, mode) displayed in stem-and-leaf plots

Language Objective:  The students will be able to describe the data being displayed on a stem-and-leaf plot both orally and in written form.
